Uses of Zomig

Zomig is also known by the generic name Zolmitriptan

USES:
Zolmitriptan is used to treat migraines. It helps to relieve headaches, pain, and other symptoms of migraines, including nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light/sound. Prompt treatment allows you to get back to your normal routine and may decrease your need for other pain medications. Zolmitriptan does not prevent future migraines or reduce how often you may get a migraine.

Zolmitriptan belongs to a group of drugs called "triptans." Migraines are thought to occur when certain blood vessels in the brain become swollen (dilated). This drug works by helping blood vessels in the brain to return to normal size. It may also block pain signals in the brain.

Uses of Celexa

Celexa is also known by the generic name Citalopram USES: Citalopram is an antidepressant (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor-SSRI) used to treat depression. It works by restoring the balance of certain natural substances (neurotransmitters such as serotonin) in the brain. Citalopram may improve your feelings of well-being and energy level.

Concurrent use may result in serotonin syndrome. Symptoms of serotonin syndrome may include irritability, altered consciousness, double vision, nausea, confusion, anxiety, hyperthermia, increased muscle tone, rigidity, myoclonus, rapid fluctuations in vital signs, hallucinations, loss of coordination, fast heart beat, overactive reflexes, vomiting, diarrhea, and coma.
