Uses of Levaquin
 
Levaquin is also known by the generic name Levofloxacin


USES:
This medication is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. Levofloxacin belongs to a class of drugs called quinolone antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.

This medication will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu). Unnecessary use or misuse of any antibiotic can lead to its decreased effectiveness.


Uses of Zithromax
 
Zithromax is also known by the generic name Azithromycin


USES:
Azithromycin is an antibiotic (macrolide-type). This single-dose form of the medication is used to treat certain infections, including genital infections. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.

This medication will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu). Unnecessary use or misuse of any antibiotic can lead to its decreased effectiveness.

This form of azithromycin is not intended for use by children.
