Linda and Erick Von Schweber

Linda Von Schweber   Erick Von Schweber

Linda and Erick Von Schweber bring an understanding of high technology and the industry that is extreme in its breadth and depth. They are building a team with deep healthcare domain expertise and world class technology experience. They have spent the last three years focused on SURVEYOR Health (formerly PharmaSURVEYOR) and are Executive Co-Chairs of the Company. Erick is CEO and CTO and Linda is President.

Prior to founding SURVEYOR Health , Linda and Erick founded NeoLogical Corporation with the mission to optimize the flow of knowledge between humans and machines, between machines and between humans in computer-mediated communications. They independently researched, developed and patented the SURVEYOR technology of which SURVEYOR Health is one application. Erick currently serves as CEO and Chief Scientist of NeoLogical. Linda serves as President.

Prior to founding NeoLogical, Linda and Erick were principals of Synsyta LLC, a for-profit consortium of small companies and academic researchers developing and integrating technologies supporting Model Driven Architecture, Service Oriented Architecture, Ontologies and the Semantic Web, Formal Methods and Grid Computing. Erick and Linda organized and managed teams of researchers, computer scientists and developers over the length of a project, typically 18 months. Synsyta primarily served the US Government, including the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the office of the Chief Architect of the US General Services Administration (GSA) and other defense and intelligence agencies. Erick and Linda applied a component of SURVEYOR optimization technology on DARPA SAPIENT (Situation Aware Protocols In Edge Network Technologies) and obtained a 6x reduction in required bandwidth for streaming media with no sacrifice in quality.

Prior to Synsyta, Erick and Linda held positions with Cacheon Inc., a San Francisco distributed computing company, with Erick serving as CTO and Linda as Director of Research.

Prior to Cacheon, Linda and Erick Von Schweber were principals of Infomaniacs, a think tank specializing in advanced concepts and technologies. In a 1998 PC Week Cover Story and Special Report Infomaniacs published their predictions for the next era of computing, called "Computing Fabrics", that painted a broad and deep vision of grid computing, web services and service oriented architecture - the strategic thrusts of the major industry players today. In September 2008 they were recognized by the IEEE Computer Society for this foundational role in painting the vision which is now being built out in the industry as The Cloud, Grid and Utility Computing, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Virtualization. For more see Stitching Computing Systems into a Computing Fabric by Sixto Ortiz Jr. or click here to view the story.

Erick performed graduate studies in Quantum Logic under Dr. David Finkelstein at the Georgia Institute of Technology's School of Physics. Linda's degree is in Psychology from Georgia State.
