PharmaSURVEYOR becomes SURVEYOR Health

Releases a new version of Medication Risk Survey

Foster City, CA – February 1, 2010 – PharmaSURVEYOR, Inc., provider of the most advanced drug safety utility, announced today that it has changed its name to to reflect its expanded mission and vision. Along with this name change the company released a new version of its website and its web application, the Medication Risk Survey.

“The mission of SURVEYOR Health is to assist patients and their caregivers, both family and professional, in understanding and managing the risks of their treatments, including prescription medications, over-the-counter meds, vitamins, herbs and other nutritional supplements” said Erick Von Schweber, Executive Co-chair of SURVEYOR Health. “We’re executing this mission both directly, through the surveyorhealth.com website, and indirectly through partners who utilize the SURVEYOR Health platform”.

The new release of its industry leading website and platform – the Medication Risk Survey – allows consumers to create a free user account, save and manage current medications, as-needed medications, proposed medications, inactive medications and manage medical conditions for all family members. The new Medication Risk Survey also adds the ability to identity medications that are contraindicated given a patient’s conditions, age, gender and special circumstances. The new release additionally offers a revised user interface that is iPhone compatible and also makes it easier to evaluate larger med lists.

These new features work hand in hand with the existing core capabilities of the Medication Risk Survey to identify, diagnose and resolve adverse drug side effect risks and interactions. With a single click a user can generate a Medication Risk Survey for any of the patient records in their account. They may also customize each Risk Survey and save the changes. The Medication Risk Survey carries forward its industry-leading “Combined Risk” evaluation, revealing the total estimated risk from all of a patient’s meds together, a capability unique to SURVEYOR Health. The new release supplements the patient-focused Combined Risk with a Reference Section where users can compare the risks of multiple medications across all reported risk factors.

SURVEYOR Health is expanding support for its partner network. The Medication Risk Survey is available as a widget for partners to add these industry-leading capabilities to their own websites and applications. “Ultimately”, said Erick Von Schweber, “the name change and new release signal an expansion of our corporate vision to enable users to better understand and manage treatment trade-offs”.
